HISTORY OF GRAPHIC DESIGN
Hundreds of graphic designs of animals by the primitive people in the chauvet cave, in the south of France, which were drawn earlier than 30,000 BC, as well as similar designs in the Lascaux cave of France that were drawn earlier than 14,000 BC, or the designs of the primitive hunters in the Bhimbetka rock shelters in India that were drawn earlier than 7,000 BC, and the Aboriginal Rock Art, in the kakadu national park of Australia, and many other rock or cave paintings in other parts of the world show that graphics have a very long history which is shared among humanity. This history together with the history of writing which was emerged in 3000-4000 BC are at the foundation of the Graphic Art.    

WHAT IS GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic design is suppose you want to announce or sell something, amuse or persuade someone,explain a complicated system or demonstrate a process.In other words,you have a message you want to communicate.how do you"send"it?you could tell people one by one or broadcast by radio or loudspeaker.That verbal communication. But if you use any visual medium at all-if you make a poster,type a letter,create a business logo,a magazine ad, or an album cover, ever make a computer
printout-you are using a from of visual communication called graphic design. 

Logo

 -logo is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol commonly used by commercial enterprises, organizations  and even individuals or are composed of the name of the organization.logo also easy to let people to  remember the brand and company.

Website

-Website are containing several subject or company related webpages and data files accessible  through a browser. Each website has its own unique web address  which can be reached through an  internet connection.website also can let people to know more information in subject or company.

Icon

-Small pictorial symbol used in a graphical user interface or in web documents to identify a file, folder,  program, or device. An icon is 'activated' by clicking on it with a pointing device to start an operation or  to make a choice.

Product Packaging

-Packaging is the technology of enclosing or protecting products.but the important is product packaging  design With a creative and appealing package design,you can may your product sell a lot.



Poster

-poster it conveyed a clear message to the people, and generated valuable comments to the presenter,  Beautifully poster not only to get attention of customers but also influence to found more information.

Brochure

-brochure a small book or magazine containing pictures and information about a product or service. 

Book Design     

-book design are combine the content, style, format, design, and sequence of the various components of a  book into a coherent whole.Good book cover design also can let many people to buy.

Business card

-a small card printed with one's name, professional occupation, company position, business address, and other  contact information.

Advertising

-Advertising is the business of producing advertisements for commercial products or services.

Billboard

-billboard is a large outdoor board for displaying advertising.billboard more are let motorists look  because billboard always put in next to the road.

the elements of graphic design are used,and often combined,to create graphic work.They should not be confused wait principle design,such as balance and white space,but rather components such as color,type and images.

Shapes

From ancient pictographs to modern logos, shapes are at the root of design. They are used to establish layouts, create patterns, and build countless elements on the page.the design software like illustrator,
creating and manipulating can giving designers to design shapes ever thing then want.

Lines

Lines are used to divide space, direct the eye, and create forms. At the most basic level, straight lines are found in layouts to separate content, such as in magazine, newspaper, and website designs. This can of course go much further, with curved, dotted, and zigzag lines used as the defining elements on a page and as the basis for illustrations and graphics. Often, lines will be implied, meaning other elements of design will follow the path of line, such as type on a curve.

Color

Color is an interesting element of graphic design because it can be applied to any other element, changing it dramatically. It can be used to make an image stand out, to show linked text on a website, and to evoke emotion.Graphic designers should combine their experience with color with an understanding of color theory.

Texture is the look or feel of a surface. You can add richness and dimension to your layouts with texture. Visual texture creates an illusion of texture on a printed publication or web page. Texture can create mood and personality and Provoke emotion.

WEEK 1
Pen drawing

CONTOUR DRAWING
Contour drawing are your is placed on the surface,you may not lift it again until you finish you drawing.
you can not draw a line broken and only use one line to finish you object.

BLIND CONTOUR LINE DRAWING
Blind contour line drawing has two rules are same to the contour drawing, one is your placed on the surface,you may not lift it again until you finish you drawing and also use one line to finish you subject.The thing are not same is you may NOT LOOKING you drawing,you only focus in you object,you must try to your pencil at the same speed as your eyes move over the surface of the contour lines of the object.

GESTURE DRAWING
Gesture drawing are typical situations involve an artist drawing a series of poses taken by a model in a short amount of time, often as little as 30 seconds, or as long as 2 minutes.your only draw the basic line, not need to finish the drawing because we need to see the  poses taken by a object.

WEEK 2

Hatching

The most basic method of creating value in ink drawing is linear hatching.Fine parallel lines fill an area,so that from just a slight distance,we have the illusion of  value.Heavier line weight also gives a draker appearance.

Crosshatching

Crosshatching uses layers of hatching placed at an angle. usually,the first layer would be vertical,the next horizontal,the next at forty-five degrees,and so on.this methodical approach can look a little mechanical,so artists often use variation in direction to add interest.

Contour hatching

Hatching placed at a slight angle creates a moire-like effect, the diamond-shaped fragments of white paper enlivening the denser areas of value.This technique is often used in figure drawing,with the direction if line helping to suggest the cross-contours of the body.Hatching which follows a contour can also help to make objects appear more three-dimensional

Random hatching

Random hatching uses layers of short,straight marks. various textures result depending on whether these short hatches are applied vertically, at right angles,following a contour or at random angles.


Stippling/Dots

Stippling uses tiny dots to create value.the closer together the dots,the darker the tone,Larger dots create a denser tonal value more quickly,but can look coarse




Week 4
Hatching techniques with art line pen
This week we need to combine Two techniques in one drawing.First,choose any object we want to draw than later use Hatching and art line pen to draw.Set 1- i use pensel to draw the basic line from the object i choose,than later follow the line using art line pen.Set 2-The object have some part is colour,you can make it black.Set 3-use hatching technique,i use crosshatching and also do the contour in the object.

Week 5
Chinese ink painting
Chinese ink painting i think is same to the water color painting,such no need to use any color in this painting.You such need to make the contour and lightness and darkness.

This is my first drawing is not very good,so i do again.

Second time,i know about chinese ink are same to the water color technique,such need to focus to the lightness and darknees.   

WEEK 6
DRAWING FINAL PROJECT:WATER COLOR AND ART LINE PEN PAINTING
In this week,we get the final project it is DESIGN Typography in 3D,that in the painting we need to use water color and art line pen.My word is "SAVE THE EARTH" .

First,i draw the  word "SAVE" first in middle,

than later i add the branch

add more drankness of the up line

below the "SAVE" i draw the word "THE EARTH"

to make "THE EARTH" become more 3D and add on the texture.

Add on all the up line become more darken

Add on the detail.

Add the leaf

beside the "SAVE", i draw the small houses

Now,all the thing are finish to draw,now i can add the water color in the painting.First,i color the "SAVE".

later add the contour color in the word

Add the leaf  color,in this leaf i use three type color it is green yellow,green,and dark green.

Add color of the house and word "THE EARTH".

Add the color of green soil

use art line pen to draw all the up line in painting.

The last thing we need to do is use hatching techniques, i use the hatching techniques to make the shadow,texture,and contour.

Meaning of the "SAVE THE EARTH"
Why i choose this word because i want to use word to bring up the meaning which we need to face a serious problem in our earth,it is the forests are less every day.First,i want to explain about "SAVE" bring what meaning,in my painting "SAVE'is mean have many human are cut down the tree every day and can not stop down to cut it. second one is the "House" is mean when the tree are cut down with bring to the  factory process become house.The word "THE EARTH" is mean when the forests are less every day will also effect to the earth.The "leaf" is mean the tree are can not live properly. Finally is the "soil" is mean do have green soil to live.
